Properties

While actively pursuing our primary target(s), we understand that they could sell before we raise funds, or our offer could be rejected, or some other scenario may lead to us not acquiring our first choice. We are preparing for this eventuality by exploring alternate properties. We are mostly considering other small rural private colleges and boarding schools but also some urban properties and rural retreats. Having the ability to accomplish our Vision and build our Communities will remain a priority in our choice of property. If you have leads on alternate properties that would meet at least most of our needs (high residential capacity, large common function spaces, lots of land for outdoor activities and events), we would welcome an email!

• Laurelwood Academy in Laurelwood, OR

Alternate properties being considered

• Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT Sold for $5M too soon for our plans to come to fruition.

• Southern Vermont College in Bennington, VT, previously a primary target, demoted for risk related reasons

• A historic mansion and other buildings in central Massachusetts on 100 acres.

• A nursing home and small apartment building in northern California on 4 acres.

• A beachside summer camp with dorms, cabins, and houses in Oregon on 15 acres.
